Social Media Surgeries are completely free advice sessions for community and voluntary groups, clubs, societies, small arts organisations and sports groups.
If you're looking for advice on how to use free internet sites and tools to publicise your group or organisation why not come along and meet people who can help. We're able to help setting up blogs, using video, photos, social media sites including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and other free web tools.
You might have specific questions that you’d like to ask, or you might just like a general introduction to what’s available. You don’t need any previous knowledge to take part. We’ll talk to you one-to-one, listen to what you need, explain things clearly and show you how to get involved.
Free web tools can help you to organise activities, promote events, raise funds, collect feedback from your participants and keep a record of everything you do.
All of our helpers are local volunteers who know enough about using social media tools to help someone else.
Social Media Surgeries take place monthly at High Peak CVS in Whaley Bridge. You'll be able to get a free cup of tea or coffee and maybe even a biscuit.
Sessions are drop-in but to help us plan please sign up here and let us know you're coming. Please bring a laptop or tablet with you if you have one available, thank you
